本片谈的根本不（只）是性别认同，而是“认同”的limbo。从J的性别、姐姐的职业到男友和伊朗移民家庭的民族和文化身份，电影刻画的是不同角色和人群在寻找自己的社会身份时经历的悬空、待定，而这种未决在我们黑白分明的体制中是难以被接受的。短评里有人把白人角色扣上“白左”，伊朗角色扣上“粗鲁无知”，还真是一种简单粗暴的认知方式。缺点就是安静的地方真美，絮叨的地方是真絮叨，姐姐念词的语调是真”念“，一点情绪都没有，反而不如伊朗家庭的吵吵闹闹显得自然。
#Cannes2017# 真的是挺差的，将性别认同的部分有点太浅了，整部电影都不知道到底想要表达什么？尤其是伊朗家庭部分，摄影很有想法，可是没有什么用。
