观众心声
根源，诗意，从愚公移山般的劳动中窥探宇宙的线索。这种视觉系地方志风格的纪录片在现实议题炸裂的当下总有点不合时宜，也许可以解释此片温吞的人气和参展情况，但拍得很好，特别是对声音的敏感。
风情画 美
主题选材、拍摄的角度，画面美学感觉都在模仿墨西哥几个著名摄影师如Graciela Iturbide、Manuel Alvarez Bravo、Mariana Yampolsky的风格，甚至连作家Juan Rulfo的摄影也有几分神似。作品的整体完程度不算高，叙事略显单一片面，但导演的野心却是展示墨西哥民族的真正内涵与精神，就此而言显然不足以让人信服，但画面与配乐仍属上品，算是差强人意吧。

谁是墨西哥的神？是应该抵制现代化的墨西哥人？还是把墨西哥人贬低为一些异国物品的电影工作人员？导演肯定很努力地利用墨西哥人向我们展示他对墨西哥的幻想。
